This Limited Edition Vandal High Premium celebrates the Harlem-based St. Christopher Club all-black basketball team of the 1910s and 20s. The St. Christopher Club featured a young Paul Robeson who played forward for the team while attending Rutgers and later Columbia Law School. The original Nike Vandal Hi basketball shoe was introduced in 1984 and became an instant classic, especially due to its distinctive color-highlighted piping and knit-tape Velcro straps. The style was discontinued in 1987. Produced using luxurious leather and includes a trophy graphic on the rear upper. An EVA midsole offers stable, durable cushioning, while a rubber cupsole cradles the foot and cushions the ride. A solid rubber outsole ensures great traction. The Velcro ankle strap makes for a snug upper fit.
